For nearly 40 years, Young Audiences of Southeast Texas has provided the children of our community with quality educational arts programming which serves to not only teach students core subjects, but to inspire their imaginations. At Young Audiences, we believe that all children deserve the opportunity to engage in the creative learning experiences only arts-in-education can bring, experiences which enrich their lives and help them to become stronger students and more well-rounded adults.
Children need the arts to grow, and for YASETX to continue serving our region's children with the finest in arts programming, we count on your support. Every dollar you donate goes straight to the cost of a program - for just $25, you can give a classroom of children the chance to travel back in time to the land of the Choctaw Nation, for $50, you can give two classrooms of children the chance to discover that poetry can come to life.
A $100 donation can provide those children with a second program during the year exploring how our society has shaped the music of Southeast Texas - and $250 can give a whole auditorium of children the chance to learn how a young girl rose from slavery to become one of America's greatest poets. Your donation of $1000 can provide a whole school with a year's worth of programs that children will remember forever.

Help support the Texas Commission on the Arts with your purchase of a specialty license plate today!
Buy a specialty plate, and your purchase will have an immediate impact on YASETX and other arts organizations across the state. TCA receives $22 for each State of the Arts license plate sold. Those dollars are transferred to TCA each month and then granted to arts organizations through TCA's year-round mini-grant program. In FY 2006, TCA awarded 1,488 grants in rural, mid-sized and urban communities throughout the state.
Each plate costs only $30 above the normal registration fee.
